When you go to McDonalds you are probably looking for two out of three of the selling points above, unless you really do have the palate of a ten year old! If you’re going to a fancy restaurant it’s probably best you gear up to expect only one of these selling points or you’re going to get a bit of a shock when the bill arrives!
We have all heard suppliers say they deliver all three but this is a bit of a rubbish answer because everyone tries for all three but rarely do all three points achieve the same levels of consistently.
In my opinion service is paramount, speed is next and then price is least important to me. But the first two look after themselves. Customers expect a good service or they won’t use a supplier regardless of how ridiculously low the price is. The same goes for late delivery. Having a supplier who can commit and deliver a professional service within good time leaves only price to worry about and most companies are usually willing to give a price you are happy with to win your business.
So for me good value is a mixture of all three but knowing that saving a few quid could really affect the priority and quality of your supplied product or service.
